Valve's recent Steam Beta update includes a built-in notepad feature that makes it easy for players to record game progress, important reminders, and other content.
After players open the notepad feature, the notepad will float on the game screen, and the transparency can be adjusted. The "smart" players immediately found another use for the notepad, acting as a sniper rifle aiming point in the game "CS: GO".
In CS:GO, the crosshairs are not displayed when the player uses the sniper rifle. The hovering notepad window will display the "*" symbol after the notepad is opened, which is an official "cheat".
